Hi, I'm Jaskarn Dhillon

A 3rd-year student at Lakehead University and Associate Researcher/Software Developer at Georgian College’s Centre for Research and Innovation.

My Interests

I am a passionate programmer who really enjoys finding new technologies or techniques to create better software. I am always looking for ways to improve or break my own code because doing so only improves my skills.

As most software developers I am often at my desk. To create discipline, resilience and an active lifestyle I am an avid gym goer. My focus at the gym aligns with powerlifting where I try and get stronger than the last day aiming for new PRs.

Being a full time student while working as a research associate can take a toll. So, to relax I enjoy playing a variety of games, from the latest Pokemon game to Call of Duty with some friends. This helps me wind down but also keeps me sharp as I am always strategizing.

Growing up my brother had always been interested in cars and thus I also really enjoy driving cars, attending car meets and watching videos on the latest developments in the automotive industry. With my dream car being either a Nissan R35 GTR Nismo or a Porshe 911 Turbo S PTS.
